This is not a bottle of live bacteria. Bacterial Boost is a concentrated biological filter activator designed to feed, energize, and accelerate the naturally occurring bacteria already present in your aquarium and filtration system.

By supporting faster bacterial growth and colonization, Bacterial Boost helps strengthen biological filtration, establish new aquariums, and restore biofilter activity after cleaning, medication, water changes, or other disruptions.

Honest Aquarium Cycling

Bacterial Boost does not pretend to instantly cycle an aquarium or replace proper water testing. Instead, it creates better conditions for the aquarium’s existing bacterial population to grow, colonize filter media, and establish a stronger biological filter.

For best results, provide an ammonia source, maintain strong aeration, and regularly test ammonia and nitrite while the aquarium cycles. A completely sterile system may require established filter media or another bacterial source.
