Tank Armor
Tank Armor
Complete aquarium water conditioner for freshwater and saltwater.
Tap water is not aquarium water. Municipal supplies carry chlorine or chloramine by design, and depending on where you live and what your pipes are made of, they carry copper, zinc, and lead along with it. Every water change is a decision about what you are putting back in the tank.
Tank Armor handles all of it. It neutralizes chlorine and chloramine on contact, detoxifies ammonia and nitrite, and chelates heavy metals. It also supports the natural slime coat, which is the first thing a fish loses when it gets stressed and the first line of defense it has against everything else.
Water changes, new setups, and emergencies
Three jobs, one bottle. Routine water changes. Filling a new tank. And the moment when a test kit comes back wrong and you need ammonia or nitrite off the table right now while you figure out what broke.
Dosing
1 mL per 5 gallons of new or replacement water. That is 20 mL per 100 gallons. Add it directly during the water change and distribute evenly. Keep good aeration going while you dose.
For high chlorine or chloramine, or an ammonia or nitrite emergency, the dose can be doubled. Run strong aeration and keep testing.
What it does not do
Tank Armor is a conditioner and a detoxifier. It is not a medication and it does not treat disease. If your fish are sick, the water conditioner is not the answer, though bad water is very often the reason they got sick in the first place.
1 gallon treats up to 18,900 gallons.
Store sealed at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Roughly 12 months unopened, 6 months after opening. For ornamental aquarium use only. Not for fish intended for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
