Internal infection antibiotic for ornamental aquarium fish. Water treatment or medicated feed.

Internal bacterial infections do not announce themselves the way external ones do. A fish that is still eating but sitting off on its own, a belly that is filling out in the wrong way, scales starting to lift, a red cast under the skin. By the time it is obvious from the outside, the infection has been running for a while.

Bacterial Blitz treats what is happening on the inside. Septicemia, bacterial dropsy, bacterial bloat, internal swelling, and systemic infection. It carries secondary activity against mouth rot and fin rot.

Built for medicated feed

This is the product to reach for while the fish is still eating. Nothing you put in the water reaches an internal infection the way medicated food does, because you are delivering the drug where the infection actually lives instead of hoping enough of it crosses the gills. Mix 10 g with 2 lb of fish food.

If the fish has stopped eating, dose the water instead.

Undiluted. No fillers.

Most aquarium antibacterials are blends, a jar of powder that is mostly carrier with a fraction of active drug, sold without ever telling you the percentage. Bacterial Blitz is not cut. What you weigh out is what treats the fish, which is why the dose is small and the jar lasts.

Dosing

Water treatment: 1 g per 20 gallons, repeated every 48 hours. Perform a 25 percent water change before each dose. Remove activated carbon and turn off UV.

Medicated feed: 10 g per 2 lb of food.

Hospital tank use only. This product will damage an established biological filter, and a sick fish does not need an ammonia spike on top of an infection.

Use a scale

Dosing is by weight, not by scoop. A gram scale that reads to a tenth of a gram costs less than a bag of food and takes the guesswork out of treating a fish that is already in trouble.

25 g treats 500 gallons.
