Fluke & Tapeworm Treatment for Ornamental Aquarium Fish

Flukes are microscopic, destructive parasites that can attack a fish’s skin and gills, causing flashing, excess mucus, clamped fins, respiratory distress, and declining health. Fluke Fallout provides targeted control of praziquantel-susceptible flatworm parasites in freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Fluke Fallout helps treat skin flukes, gill flukes, tapeworms, and other susceptible flatworms without the harshness associated with many broad-spectrum parasite treatments.

Directions

Remove activated carbon before treatment. Turn off UV sterilization and protein skimming. Maintain strong aeration throughout treatment.

Dose 1 gram per 100 gallons of actual aquarium water.

For better distribution, mix the measured dose thoroughly in a container of aquarium water to create an even suspension. Distribute the mixture around the aquarium or directly into a high-flow area.

After 3 days, perform a water change and repeat the full dose.

Calculate the aquarium’s actual water volume after accounting for substrate, rock, decorations, and equipment. Do not overdose.

Why Repeat Treatment?

Skin flukes can reproduce rapidly, while the eggs produced by gill flukes may survive the initial treatment. Repeating the dose helps target newly emerged parasites and interrupt the infestation cycle.

Each 25 g jar treats up to 2,500 gallons.
